Save your money for renting a real pressure washer I bought a similar the model to this one from a big box store (mine had wheels). After about five hours of use the gaskets in the pump blew out. Luckily it was still under warranty (barely), but I expect the replacement will last about as long. If I had known I would only get 10hrs of use out the piece of junk I would never I purchased it, but would have rented a professional one from time to time. Don't throw your money away on this one. If I could give NO STARS I would!!! Once upon a time there was a simple homeowner's dilemma. Hire out or power wash the fence herself? says she... "I will be darned if I pay $300 for someone to power wash my fence! I can do it ALL BY MYSELF!"
She paid $60 for a 'remanufactured' (read: use at your own peril) karcher washer and went to work. Happily peeling off layers of dirt and mildew, her light hearted mood darkened as quick as pool of water forming around her Karcher hose. Yes, the hose burst.
Undaunted, she took a ride to Acme. She should have stopped there. Wyle E Coyote was in line at the Karcher booth. Well, there were no replacement hoses for KARCHER but there was a UNIVERSAL replacement hose. She was happy to pay the $15 since KARCHER replacement hoses were $50!!!
INCIDENTLY, YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING WHY SHE DID NOT JUST CALL KARCHER ABOUT THE GENEROUS 30 DAY WARRANTY. WELL SHE DID. AND SHE DISCOVERED THAT THE 30 DAY WARRANTY EXPIRED MONTHS BEFORE SHE EVEN BOUGHT THE UNIT... THANKS TO A LITTLE DATE STICKER ON THE UPC CODE!! SO WHILE THE SPIDERS WERE SPINNING WEBS AROUND THE BOX SINCE NOBODY WAS DUMB ENOUGH TO BUY IT YET, THE WARRANTLY WAS MERRILY SPINNING ITS WAY INTO NOT MY PROBLEM-VILLE!
Ok, so to weave an end to my tale of woe.... the KARCHER trigger does NOT fit a universal hose. So...you will traipze on back to Acme numerous times.
JUST PAY THE $300 FOR IT TO BE SOMEONE ELSES PROBLEM!!!
