The high performance material of the reservoir is lighter than metal for easy transporting.A patent pending, fastener-less, twist-and-lock mechanism allows the user to lock the drip pan into place easily for quick disposal of metal chips.The new RIDGID® Model 418 hand-held oiler features a redesigned, heavy-duty reservoir manufactured of a high strength polymer that resists impact without denting, cracking, piercing or permanently deforming. In addition, the reservoir withstands abrasion and rust.
The high performance material of the reservoir is lighter than metal for easy transporting. The reservoir's integral molded body design, combined with its flat hose port, eliminates leaks at the hose-reservoir connection. The new oiler lasts longer than conventional oilers and increases contractors' productivity.
A patent pending, fastener-less, twist-and-lock mechanism allows the user to lock the drip pan into place easily for quick disposal of metal chips.
The RIDGID 418 oiler's pump delivers 50% more thread cutting oil per stroke than other handheld oilers, providing additional protection for threading dies and better thread quality. An ergonomically designed, two-finger trigger is easy to use, and reduces user fatigue. A 54 hose and a wide, curved steel nozzle directs oil onto the dies and pipe in a controlled manner. The nozzle may be swiveled to direct flow at any angle.
