I was shopping for a 16 Gauge finish nailer and found this one on sale. It had all the features I was looking for from a fairy well known brand. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the nailer and the included case and accessories. It was simple to use and worked well on some new baseboards that I used it to install. I only have two minor complaints. First, I had trouble getting it to fire the nails into the trim so they were counter sunk below the surface of the wood. I wanted to be able to fill in the holes with putty so they would be hidden. I tried using shorter nails, turning up the air pressure, and setting the depth control to max but the nails would either stick out a little or set flush. I might need to play with it a little more, but a little more power would be nice. My second complaint is the lack of availability of fasteners made by Grip-Rite. I live in Dallas and could not find them anywhere locally, nor any place online to order them. I ended up purchasing another brand that work fine, but I would have preferred using Grip-Rite's own as they recommended. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with this nailer and would recommend it.
