Eazypower 30199 1/4-Inch Hex Shank Chuck Adapter with 3/8-Inch-24 UNF Thread customer reviews: UNABLE TO ADAPT I recently bought a new drill/driver with a "quick change" type hex chuck. I bought this shank to convert a standard type chuck to an adaptor so I could use all my old style [non-hex shank] drill bits with the new drill. It does not work. The short segment at the tip of the shank, which is supposed to lock into the quick change chuck, is too long. So, it does not lock in place in the "quick change" chuck. I might as well use the original round shaft of the standard chuck.
