Quarter inch hex chuck works great on sheet metal screws. Great for changing out recept and switch plates, trimming out a house if electrician. Has enough torque for driving wood screws and putting together knock down furniture kits. This is a mini screw gun, not a drill. Great tool I use this power screwdriver on my job as a computer technician and it works very well. I had problems with another brand that lasted about a month, then the switch failed, making it useless. Great for small jobs. This cordless screwdriver is easy to use, great for small jobs, and makes a great gift. I actually bought this for my grandson since he already had a collection of hand tools. He uses it to tighten chair and table legs, and anything else that needs tightened. It comes in handy for everyday use when you don't feel like dragging out a big drill for a small job, and since it's lightweight, women will feel comfortable using it.
