TorchWear Carbon-x Welding Sleeves Description
|
Torch Wear® products are manufactured with CarbonX fibers to achieve maximum protection, while being lightweight, and comfortable. CarbonX,when exposed to intense heat or flame, will carbonize and expand, dramatically reducing the oxygen content within the fabric. Unlike many of the fabrics currently used, Torch Wear® will not char, shrink, or burn when exposed to heat or flame. The fabric is not chemically treated. It is a yarn created by spinning Oxidized Polyacrylonitrile (O-PAN) with an Aramid strengthening agent. This formula results in a product with amazing heat and fire resistance.
