The price was the lowest online. Kenmore compatibility This product works fine in my Kenmore refrigerator. Save yourself some money over what Sears charges for the same thing. No need to go to Sears anymore I've been purchasing this filter at Sears for the last 3 yrs and then realized that Amazon sold it for $20 cheaper (plus free shipping). Needless to say I'll be buying it from Amazon in the future. Kenmore is actually made by Whirlpool, so there's no difference between the one Sears sells and this one (except the price!).
